New Art Club Formed in Yeshiva College (Vol. 1, Issue 2)

A new medium for artistic expression in Yeshiva College was inaugurated with the first meeting of the new Art Club last Thursday night, March 14.

The semester’s project will be lettering, it was announced by the president of the newly organized group, Irving Mensch. Forms of decorative poster work will be taken up, including Hebrew lettering, English lettering and elementary cartooning. 

In addition to the instructive aims of the Club, the organization intends to provide a useful institutional function by making signs for the Publicity Committee, school offices, and organizations holding conventions in the building.
